We are travelling to Arinsal in February half term for our 7th ski holiday there. We have got snow socks for the car we hire in Barcelona as we were told that these would be the legal requirement (we know snow chains are too). However, reading on websites about the legalities, only snow chains are mentioned. Are snow socks ok or do I need to get snow chains to avoid a fine.
