myself and 2 friends have booked to come to arinsal for a week 10-17 jan. Just wondering how much snow to expect and more importantly, how is the night life at that time of year, do bars stay open late?

Are there any bars/restaurants actually on the slopes?
    • Hi!

Snow conditions is always a popular question, and the straight answer is that it's absolutely down to pure luck! You never know what you'll get, but so long as you come with the attitude that you'll enjoy yourself you'll be fine! I've been up skiing today and there's plenty of snow to ski on at the moment, plus more is forecast for the next few days so the cover will be building up. You'll just have to keep doing the snow dance before you come

As for bars and restaurants, it's usually a younger crowd in January so there'll be plenty going on. There are bars and restaurants up on the mountain too, but they close at 5pm when the mountain shuts. Bars will stay open whilst there's people drinking, with the nightclubs shutting at around 3am at the weekend.

Don't forget to print your bar discount vouchers before you come too so you can save a few Euros on your drinks!

      Steve
    • we have been there twice now that time of year the bars are fairly quiet but the plus side is you get a drink quick !!! and the slopes are fairly quite which means no big queues at the chair lifts also we are going the same week as you.just avoid hotel crest the food is rubbish. 8)
