Hi Mike

I've started a new thread on this one, hope you don't mind, just so the answers stay on topic!

From 70 years upwards you receive a free lift pass! Just present your passport at the little office at the bottom of the gondola and they will issue it. You will just need to pay a €3 deposit which you will get back when you return the pass at the end of your stay, but you don't have to return it if you want a €3 souvenir!
