  • Minimum ski age

    Phil S

    Hi,

I understand that 6 is the minimum age for a child to join ski school. Is that an indicative age based on their ability or a mandated age set by the ski school ? We've been reviewing the crystal website, with whom we've booked our holiday, and it gives the impression that it's more to do with the child's ability rather than age. Looking to start lessons for our 5 year old asap with the hope he can join ski school when we visit Andorra in February. Any assistance much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Phil S
  • Kids ski group lessons

    muttermum

Hi, we are looking forward to coming out on 30th March for a week!
I understand my 6 year old son can do the group ski lesson, he has already done one week already and can do green/blues.
But what about my 5 year old son? He can do a snowplough and ski down hill but not as good as his brother. Is he too young to do the beginners group lessons or would he be best in the snow garden? He's keen to learn.
    Thanks in advance!
