  • Hi John

We've already had a bit of snow, but mostly confined to higher up than the village so far, but as Ben says it's still early days! We'll be starting our weather reports in the next couple of weeks so you can stay up-to-date with how things are progressing.

Opening is scheduled for November 26th, a whole month before you arrive, so fingers crossed there will be plenty for when you get here!

  • It varies every year, the same as any other resort. I´ve seen years were there is snow by early october and others when even by late Decmember there has been very little. Vallnord has a really extensive snow cannon network so even of there hasn´t been much snowfall you can pretty much guarentee that most of the slopes will still be open and in good condition.
  • Myself and my fiancé are traveling to arinsal on the 26th of dec for a week for our first visit, although we have been skiing in Mayrhofen and sauze. When does snow generally start to fall? I notice nothing yet?
