28th February

After a long absence the sun has decided to come out to play today.  After many days of heavy snow the pistes are in amazing conditions.  Freshly groomed overnight.  Winds are still strong but bareable.  Arcalis is still closed as they need a bit more time to get the slopes into perfect condition.  Pal and most of Arinsal is open.  Temperatures have warmed up and are hovering between -3 and 2 degrees.

26th February

Snow continued all day yesterday and it is still snowing on the mountain!  Freezing level is around 1800m which means we have rain at village level (1450).  Due to high winds Arinsal and Arcalis will be closed today.  A small number of runs will remain open in Pal.  Freezing level will drop tomorrow however winds expected to remain high.

24th February

WINTER HAS RETURNED TO ANDORRA! Heavy snow has fallen for about 24 hours in Arinsal and it is set to continue.  We've now had approx 30-50cm of fresh white fluffy powder fall.  If you are driving to resort snow chains are essential.  Forecast is for it to continue for next 2 days.

23rd February

Wind has died down and all resorts are open.  Plenty of fresh snow on the mountain for a great powder day ahead.  Sky is blue and temperatures are around 1 to 2 degrees.

22nd february

Heavy snow falling across Arinsal with over 10cm falling since last night.  Blustery winds have closed Arcalis but Arinsal and Pal remain open.  Some of the higher lifts are closed until the winds die down.  Temperatures are ranging between -1 and -8 degrees.  Wrap up warm everyone!

21st February

A decent dump of snow has hit Arinsal this morning (4-5cm).  Visibility is reduced but apart from that conditions are perfect.  Forecast showing plenty more snow on the way and Wednesday looks like we could be looking at white out conditions.  Happy skiing everyone

We also have snow reports and weather forecasts for other resorts in Andorra:

Vallnord & Arinsal Webcams

New for 2013-14 we have some new webcam feeds with short video clips from the mountain which are a much better way for you to see the current snow conditions.

Arinsal Weather Forecast

The weather forecasts can vary quite a bit which is usually related to the ever changing weather here in Andorra! Being in the mountains it can be quite difficult to predict snowfall, especially quite a few days out. Generally we find the forecasts are more reliable the closer to the actual time! We've selected a couple which should load in below.
