03/02/2012: Well the last couple of days have been brilliant. The snow conditions are perfect at the minute and the slopes are in great condition. They are being pisted well and whilst the temperature is colder this week we are still stacking up the snow making too. The runs are light, smooth and very very enjoyable!

Two days ago I spent the day snowboarding in Arcalis and had a full powder day! It was snowing all day but only at the very top was the visibility a little bad. Most of the morning was spent on L'Hortel button lift. Coming off it to the left and into fresh powder with lots untracked through the trees and woodpark area. Then the afternoon was spent in knew deep powder on the front face of Arcalis. Top top day! Left very tired but massively happy at the end of it.

Previous day saw Pal slopes on my skis all day. I could not pick a run to tell you it was the best as they are all in such great condition. The beginner area was really busy but away from there the slopes were pretty quiet and the snow is just a dream. I did not want to come back at the end of the day, I was buzzing after a day blasting around on my own in amazing snow conditions.

The weather today is as it has been for the past few days - bright blue sky with sunshine, but cold and windy.  They are continuing to make snow with the cold temperatures.
