Here are a few reasons why Arinsal is a great choice as a skiing holiday for beginners…
Arinsal is an excellent choice for first-timers and improvers, the layout of the mountain means it is very easy to navigate your way around the slopes and there are plenty of beginner-friendly slopes where you can practice those first turns and the all-important art of stopping! It is a popular spot for many beginners and intermediates which means you won’t feel overwhelmed by an abundance of experts whizzing past whilst you take your time perfecting your newly acquired skills.
The ski and snowboard schools in Arinsal are first-class; all instructors at the school are highly trained and very accustomed to beginner skiers and snowboarders. They are extremely approachable and patient, many of them are also native British instructors. The school generally receives excellent feedback and is one of the prime reasons people choose not just to learn in Arinsal but also return year after year.
Arinsal has a dedicated nursery slope and “magic carpet” lift (this is best described as a conveyor belt for skiers and boarders which transports you to the top of the nursery slope, it is far easier than getting on and off a traditional lift, plus it’s undercover to protect you from the elements!). You will also find great options for ski equipment hire and snowboard rental meaning there is no need to fork out on costly equipment.
Many people don’t want to spend a fortune when booking their 'learn to ski' holiday as they may just want to try it out and see if it is for them. Arinsal is a great budget-friendly option, with prices both on and off the slopes somewhat cheaper than many parts of the Alps.
Arinsal is one of the friendliest, most down to earth ski villages you will ever visit. There's nothing pretentious here, just lots of friendly, happy people who love the mountains and go out of their way to ensure everyone (whether first-timer or seasoned pro) has a great time and feels welcome in the village. There are plenty of après ski bars and cosy restaurants to help you wind down after a day on the slopes.
If you would like an Arinsal expert to help guide you through the process of booking your beginner ski holiday, then please just get in touch. We would love to hear from you and look forward to helping you plan your trip to the slopes.
