Your instructor, just for you
The quickest way to progress — one-to-one attention, tailored entirely to your ability and goals.
A private instructor in Pal-Arinsal can be booked from just one person up to a maximum of six. The focused attention lets you concentrate on specific elements of your technique, with sessions arranged around the times that suit you.
So that you get the most benefit from a private instructor, it is not recommended that adults and children share the same lesson — adults and children have different learning styles and progress at different speeds. We suggest separate instructors. If you'd still rather share, that's possible, just make it clear when you send your enquiry.

The personalised attention from a private instructor lets you progress much quicker than within a group — in as little as two hours you can make marked improvements. The other benefit is flexibility: you choose the days and times that suit you, pending availability, rather than fitting into a fixed schedule.
Group lessons remain the most popular option for visitors and are still a fantastic way to learn. Many people prefer the social element and the camaraderie that comes with it; they're also far more affordable, making them the most economical way to benefit from expert tuition.
If you're holidaying as a group it can be worth combining the two: book a private instructor to look after your group exclusively for the duration (up to a maximum of six people), so you get to ski with your friends and have an instructor dedicated to your group's needs.
Inclusive instruction
Arinsal is fortunate to have British ski instructors specially trained in adaptive skiing. Snowsports should be accessible to everyone, and adaptive instruction allows guests with disabilities to enjoy skiing alongside family and friends.
To book an English-speaking adaptive instructor, simply send us an enquiry with your requirements, including your preferred dates, ability level, and any specific equipment or support needs. We will work closely with the instructor to ensure your lessons are tailored to your individual requirements, helping you get the most from your time on the mountain. Standard private lesson rates apply.
Ability Levels
Honest self-assessment before you book can make a huge difference to your time on the slopes.
These are the standard four ability levels used across Pal-Arinsal and the wider Andorra ski schools. Don't worry if you're not 100% sure — instructors will tailor the lesson to where you actually are.
