ski pass for beginner & road conditions

    • ski pass for beginner & road conditions

      Hi,

We are absolute beginners, never skied before... we are going to Vallnord next weekend and planning to book 3h+3h of group ski lessons on Sat & Sun. Could you advise us what ski pass do we need to buy for these 2 days? Can we book beginners ski pass for 15.50€/day or do we need a full ski pass for these 2 days?

a 2nd question - I've seen it's been snowing recently... we'll be driving a car - do we need a snow chains or we should be fine without them?

      Thanks,
      Tom
    • Hi Tom

The beginners pass just covers the two magic carpet lifts so if you're taking a few hours of lessons you'll most probably progress off the magic carpets by day two, so you could do a beginners pass for day one €15.50 + €39 for a full day. You'd then need to buy separate gondola passes for the first day which I think are around €7 each for a round trip, or you can drive up and park at the top of the gondola (free parking).

The roads are fine at the moment but if it snows heavily then you will need chains. It's impossible to tell at the moment if you'll need them but as snow is forecast for the weekend it's recommended that you have some.

Just ask if you have any other questions.

      Steve
