Child ages

    • Hi

We are coming out the beg of feb and thinking of booking some private lessons for our children - the only thing is the youngest will be a week off her third birthday, do you think this is too young or will they allow her to have the lesson

Also is there a minimum age to book skis and boots

      Ta and see you soon
    • Hi Kelly

The best way to grow a ski pro is to get them started young :)

The equipment for a three year old would be the childs equipment in our online shop.

Taking private lessons means the instructor is just for you one on one (of however many in the private tuition together) and you can tell them exactly where you want to improve, focus on and you advance at a much quicker speed than in group lessons when you are sharing the instructors time with up to 11 other people. The minimum age for children's group ski school is 6 but if you wanted your 3 year old could go into the snow garden which is a specialised area doing snow learning based activities and depending on weather sometimes indoor activities which would not be skiing.
If there are a few children you want to take private lessons it depends on the age difference they have as to whether they would learn well together or advance quicker than other then meaning holding some back and pushing others too quickly.
If you want more info and can give me more details of exactly what you looking for fill in this private lesson contact form
There are instructors that work especially with children at the school and also a new private session you could do called "mum and me" where you can learn together with your little one, sharing the class together.

Hope this helps but any other questions you have please just ask.
