All the reports say that Arcalis is the place to go to! ! Are there any mid day buses either to or coming back? Coming over Sunday night 16th Feb for a week and initial thoughts ,as daughter is in afternnon ski school, may only get half days to get to Arcalis (or wait til last day Saturday when all the "locals" visit" ) Next question is can you ski it all / the best bits in just half a day??

Just seen your post. We are flying with Monarch (self, wife and 12 yr old), getting into Barcelona from Gatwick at 18.45 on Sunday 16th and have booked Resorthoppa transfer. Returning 19.45 flight from Barcelona Sunday 23rd. Flights are now cheaper than when booked them back in October. Worth a look!!!! Trev

Everything happens at the top after the gondola / chair lift has taken you from the village. There are no slopes near to your hotel/ actually in the village but nursery area etc (although can be pretty crowded at peak times) as soon as you are off the gondola. Relax and Enjoy! Its a great place for skiing....and apres-ski!!

Been to Bulgaria Borovets twice and Andorra twice (Pas de la casa last year and previously Arinsal) and I found the "quality" of snow in Andorra is sooo much better than Eastern Block! Did you say you had 5 yrs experience? The runs over in Pal will be "Easy" reds for you from memory but are very relaxing and enjoyable! Pistes to just cruzzze on LOL!
