hi, is it’s possible to book a locker up top, tried to figure out the Vallnord website, and also their app which very helpfully is all in Catalan thanks
What the hell have they done to the passes? We only have 4 days, tue to fri, my wife wants lessons in Arinsal, which is fine we’ll just have to lose the Monday on the cost of the lessons, but my son and me will want to ski Arcalis and arinsal, that was easy until this year, whats going on?
Afternoon. We are coming out half term week for 4 days, my son(15) would like some freestyle lessons, do Vallnord do this? Not having much luck finding any useful info on the Vallnord web site. Thanks
hi steve & co. Whats the name of the ski shop at the top of the gondola? not the one directly opposite, the one that is upstairs on the right hand side(as if you would be walking back towards the gondola) thanks
They all run at the same times. Either 9-12 or in the afternoon, I think 1-4 but we've always done mornings so not too sure. The instructors are really good and English speaking. You may even get a proper English. On Monday morning it can be a bit of a bun fight to find your groups and on a Monday only I think they start at 10 to give you a bit more time to get your stuff sorted, they then put you through a grading to see what level you are they also may move you around during the week to higher…
do you get the discount on private lessons? probably not, but ive got to ask. if you do it may actually be worth going to get one. thanks. p.s Steve ive already booked the skis for my son.
done with Chrystal this time. usually do DIY and fly sleezy jet luton to BCN and hire a car. worked out far cheaper this way. free kids lift pass, free child place at the hotel pass and school deal for kid and wife. it all worked out really quite good. Much better than Les Arcs in half term last year
We are flying in from gatwick. Live down souf now but originally from congleton, Cheshire. 0640 flight from gatwick, I hate that place with a passion. Live 25 mins away from Luton but couldn't get a flight from there. I'm bi, but mainly ski now, mrs ricfrench is on her 4th week with building confidence(she is booked into group improvers) My son is learning to board but can ski.
we will probably see you there we re there from the 9th too. got a 10 year old lad we're dragging along with us. looking forward to it, not stayed here before though but the reviews seem to be really good. its a bit away from the lifts and village (just over a mile if google earth is to be believed).
^^I've done this twice now and had no problems or issues. not doing it this year though, I usually do DIY but coming with Chrystal this year as it was a better deal.
That really isn't a good advert for that shop or arinsal. Which one was it so I can avoid it in a couple of weeks time. Luckily never had that sort of an issue.
