      Hi Steve,
Do you know when the 2011-2012 discount vouchers will be available?
Do you have an e-mail address for 360 Restaraunt? My French is bad but my Catalan is even worse!
We were hoping to book this for xmas dinner as it seems to get the best reviews for food although perhaps you can advise. We will have 7 kids with us from 4 to 8 and they can be a bit picky at times!
Do the bars allow children and what sort of time are they thrown out-I have one who knows when to go to bed and another who is like her mother and won't go until the party is over!!!
      Cheers
      John

Up to now the discount vouchers offered on here are not unique to this web site. You will find that the bars have the same offers open to everyone and that the vouchers are not needed, we printed a load off last year and didn't use one.

You could try contacting 360 via their facebook page - facebook.com/Restaurant360?sk=info or phone +376 839981 you will find that their English is a lot better than your Catalan so should not have a problem in booking.

I have seen kids in the bars late into the evening, so you should not have any problems.

      Hope this helps

      Kev
    • Hi John

The new discount vouchers will be coming online over the next week or so as the bars and restaurants finalise them. As Kevin says they speak great English there so you'd have no problem in calling them to book a table. You'll find their contact details here: arinsal.co.uk/restaurants.php#360.

Kids aren't normally kicked out of bars - just about everywhere is family friendly here - and the bars are normally open to around 3am, or some to 4am at weekends or for special nights such as Christmas and New Year.

Kevin, some of the discounts are available directly with the bars and restaurants, and others you won't get without our discount vouchers - it's up to you if you use them or not, they're there so you know about the offers.

      Steve
    • speaking as one of the managers of el Cau, the offers that the website have online are exclusive to them and aren´t actually available anywhere else. Yes,we (and most of the other bars/restaurants) do have other different offers, which a voucher is not neccessary for, but generally we save the good ones for steve and Emma ;)

Just back from Arinsal on 26th after a great week.
Snow arrived late on 16th and carried on until 20th Then we had sun for most of the rest of the week.
6 Kids were in Matthews 12 o'Clock ski school. Went from the bottom of the beginners slope to the top of the 6 man lift in 3 days and all could manage to come down without any real problems. Could not recommend Matthew highly enough. Two of their mothers were also in Ski school and did not get past the beginners slope with their instructor althoigh we did take them up on the last day ourselves.
Learned to ski in Pas de la Cas and the food here was not up to much. Food in Arinsal was miles ahead. We had read up on some restaurants before we left and many got mixed reviews-We were more than surprised with both the quality and the volume of food all very well priced. We ate in Quo Vadis on the first night mainly because we were staying in the Poblado. Food was great and Kev and th staff were very freindly to all and especially the kids, in fact we found that in almost every bar and restaurant we went to the staff entertained the kids. Also ate in Ciscos, 360 and Surf as well as trying a few of the other bars such as El Derby and El Cau. El Cau was great coming off the slopes-Free toastie with every drink which gave the kids a snack plus then the staff took the time to entertain the kids whist the parents relaxed.
All in all it was a great holiday for all and I could recommend for famillies with kids who want to learn to ski.
A big thanks to all the staff and reps who looked after us during our stay
Sorry I didn't manage to find your office Steve to get you that beer!

      Hi Marcus,

Used one for 360 restaurant but in the end it worked out about 4% off the bill by the time taxes were added in. When you get to the bottom of the Gongola there are staff from El Cau, Ciscos, El derby and Quo Vadis who give out vouchers for free toasties, free drinks etc. in the bars upto at least 6pm but some go on to about 8pm.
Quo Vadis give you tickets in the bar for free t shirts if you fill the ticket. This runs to 8 and depending on how many of you there are they can fill up quickly!!!
It would do no harm to print off a few of the vouchers as you never know free drinks are free and money off means you have more for beer when you need to pay!!!!!
If you are an experienced skier there are not too many runs in Arinsal and although we didn't get across to PAL as the Gondola wasn't running and we had too many kids in ski school it may be worth a look. If your not experienced Arinsal is a great place to learn as the slopes are not tooo challenging.

Hope you have as good a time as we did.

      Best Regards

      John
