    • Arinsal at Christmas

      Hi again,

We have now booked our trip to Arinsal for the Christmas week and me and my parents were wondering what happens in Andorra over the Christmas week.

Which days are public holidays - Are the slopes likely to be busy?
We are staying in the San Moritz - Are there any nice restaurants to eat at on Xmas day/eve?
Do the ski slopes shut on Christmas day? ?(
Are the supermarkets closed for long periods of time over Xmas (We are Self catering)?

      Thanks a lot once again,

      Lewis, Cambridge, UK :D
    • We went to Arinsal for new year and had a lovely meal t the 360 restaurant which was lovely but beware on new years eve they added an extra charge but did not tell us till we were sat at the table which did not go down well. But the food was so good we revisited on our last evening in Arinsal. We booked it through Steve via this web site.

The shops do all close on a public holiday so get some food in beforehand. St Mortiz is an ideal location supermarket, ski hire shop and several lovely restaurants just on the door steps.

Not sure if the ski lessons are on christmas day but they definately were on New Years day and it was a lovely way to spend the new year on the mountain.

      Hope this helps
