    • Tips for a good time

Due to fly out at the weekend. Anyone got any good tips, best/cheapest places to eat and drink - on and off the slopes.

Best areas for intermediates to ski etc.

Do the lifts get busy, especially first thing in a morning?

You know the stuff, any adivce would be great!

    • Recipe for a Good Time in Arinsal.

      Hi Kevin

Pretty much all the info you need is in the threads on this site, have a read through them. Specifically, wrt best areas for intermediates: Pal is good, as is Arcalis.

The lifts don't get that busy in comparison to some other resorts in Europe. Have a look at the 'Never been skiing before- whats Arinsal like?' thread under 'General Comments'.
    • The food was good everywhere we tried. Reasonable prices in the village, a bit more expensive on the mountain, but not bad really. (We were in Killington a few weeks ago and a burger and chips was 20 dollars  - packed lunch all round. There are vouchers on the site here for freebies (in the resort button at the top) and if you are at the bottom of the gondola late in the afternoon you usually get vouchers for free or cheap beer and snacks
