  • Hey Guys, We are currently en route from sunny Barcelona! I have a question. 3 of us in the party and we have all booked ski passes/hire. One of us has not been able to print out out vouchers, but obviously have them on our email. Can you advise if this will be ok to pick up the passes and hire gear? Thanks in advance! Tricky

  • Hello Guys, We are heading out on the 7th March until the 15th. Driving from Barcelona, so will have a car for the duration. We would like to make a couple of trips to Arcalis. I understand the drive should take around 45mins?? Could anyone kindly provide driving directions from the center of Arinsal? A link to google maps would be massively helpful! I'm assuming if it is signposted it should be fairly easy. Are the road conditions generally OK if there is a lot of snow on the route? We will pur…

  • Thank for checking this out Hayley. Great help Can't wait to get there in March now!

  • Hello All, Many thanks for all your replies, it has been greatly helpful! We have managed to get a good deal through Holiday Autos, I just did as you suggested and called them with the Quote details. They advised which companies allow cross border travel into Arinsal. Cost wise only worked out an an extra £30ish which is reasonable. Unfortunatley we have to get a shuttle bus to their offices off terminal which is not ideal with 2 snowboards and luggage but i'm sure we will manage. I guess we cou…

  • Hello All, I'm hoping you guys may be able to offer some advice from your past experience. 4 of us are flying into Barcelona in March and our preference is to hire a car to travel to Arinsal. It seems at the moment more economical and to be honest easier in terms of lugging equipment around etc. Our flight arrives at 10 am so we are also hoping for the opportunity to stop off at a few locations on the way, just to see the sights. Anyway, the cost seems to be reasonable for a week hire however I …

  • Hi Hayley, Thanks for the speedy reply. It's good to know there is a variety available. I currently have Volkl Auras which are great and I find actually help to improve my technique. I've also hired a good pair of Aramdas before and find the higher level dynastar skiis pretty good. As long as it's a fairly good standard all mountain carving ski I will be happy! Do you knows if the hire shops stock any of the above? Thanks again

  • Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone can provide me with a bit of information regarding ski hire. I would say I'm an advanced intermediate, confident with carving, moguls, black runs etc, but certainly not an expert by any means. Anyway, it will be our first time to Arinsal in March. Normally I take my own skis and boots however due to us booking the holiday independently it will work out more expensive to add a ski bag to our flight baggage than hiring for the week. Can you advise if the ski hire …
