  • Hi Claire,

The bus takes around 50 minutes to arrive there.

There are many options to eat in Arcalís, it is a very complete ski resort, there is no village near though if that's what you mean with "not much there", however, you can find a wide variety of restaurants on its slopes, that serve from gourmet burgers, to classic sandwiches, pizzas, or even steaks.

Please, let me know if you have any other question,

    Kind regards,
    Esther
  • We're skiers :D

Thanks for the info, how long does the bus take?

Are there places to eat in Arcalis? I heard there isn't much there.

  • Hi Claire,

If you are an intermediate skier or boarder then getting the Vallnord pass to go and explore Arcalis is 100% worth it, it's incredible over there - widely known as the best ski area in Andorra. There is a free bus everyday (apart from Sunday) then runs at 08:30 and 10:30 from Arinsal and comes back at 15:30 and 17:30 so although it takes a little while to get there, it's worth it.

  • Vallnord Lift Pass

    Claire

    Hello Arinsal Team,

We're coming to vist Arinsal in March and not sure whether to buy a Vallnord lift pass or the Pal-Arinsal lift pass.

We're not having lessons, and are intermediate level, visiting for six days skiing.

Is it worth paying the extra for the full area ski pass, and is it easy enough to get to Arcalis?

    Thanks

    Claire x
