  • Slopes are very much quieter today thankfully. yesterday the one and only way back to the bottom of the slope was on the green run. The combination of beginners in their classes wobbling about and being knocked over and tripped up by the experienced skiers blasting through their groups and riding right over their skis ......clearly with no thought or consideration to anyone else, coupled with the snowboarders also scratching their way down on the ice, some of whom enjoying their sport of covering everybody else in a shower of snow. It all made for a very dangerous afternoon.

there are a lot of injured people today.....and I 'm not talking about sore heads.

    Hi Steve

Thank you, was getting concerned as arriving in Arinsal on Sunday. Went to travel agents today to see if I could change the holiday to somewhere where there is more snow but it is too late for that.

  • Hi Fiona

Over Christmas just over half the slopes were open, yes it was patchy lower down but higher up was ok, however it's snowing heavily at the moment and set to continue until tomorrow, so things will change a lot over the coming days.
