  • There are always loads of parties over New Year - some free, others charge an entry fee. As for special dinners, most restaurants will have a special menu, and I'll try to put a few on here. Ones to look out for will be Sant Andreu, Restaurant 360 and the Micolau, and booking your table is definately recommended.

As for activities, the holiday reps organise quite a few including quiz night, a sledging evening (Arinsal by Night), shopping trips, ski away days, plus ones involving drinking such as the pub crawl, and 70's night (check with you rep if it's happening on New Year's Day), plus the obvious New Year's Eve parties that will be going off!

Anyway, the best bet is to get to your reps welcome meeting and they'll fill you in on what's going on during the week.

  • Things to do over New Years

There is a group of us. 3 couples in our late twenties heading out over New Years for a weeks skiing. We were wondering if anyone has any suggestions about what to do in arinsal over new years and which restaurants would be recommended to have a group dinner that evening and whether we would need to book it in advance. We went to livigno in italy last year and they had a turbo toboggans activity which involved going up on the nursery slopes one evening under foodlights and sliding down on the turbo boards. great fun. Anything like this in Arinsal? We would enjoy activities like this more so than spending all night in the nightclub. Although a few beverages would not go amiss!! Looking forward to your suggestions!!
